SAXDOR 200 NAMED BEST POWERBOAT OF THE YEAR 2021
Saxdor 200 wins the top award of European Powerboat of the Year
The model was awarded the title "European Motorboat of the Year 2021" in an award ceremony that took place virtually this year.
The Saxdor 200 competed in the category of boats up to 8 meters with such industry leaders as Jeanneau and Bayliner.
Known as ‘Oscars of yachting, the European Powerboat of the Year awards are normally presented on the occasion of Europe's largest indoor yachting exhibition, Boot Dusseldorf, but the exhibition was canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The awards are juried by the Editors-in-Chief and test journalists of the most respected yachting publications from around the world.
‘The Saxdor 200 Sport is new to the boat market and a really cool boat" - one of the judges of the European Powerboat of the Year award wrote in Boote magazine: "Sporty, agile and safe to drive, the Saxdor 200 Sport is new to the boat market and a really cool boat. A robust, angular Finnish construction built in Poland combines with flexible module-based equipment options and very sporty performance characteristics”.
The 6-meter Saxdor 200 has collected almost all of the most important yachting awards. In addition to the European Boat of the Year, it was a finalist in the Motorboat Awards 2021 and won the title "Best Newcomer 2020" at the Best of Boats awards.
