It seemed nothing new was there to invent in the pleasure boat segment, with the multitude of cruise powerboats and yachts currently in production. However, Saxdor Yachts' chief designer Sakari Mattila, together with respected design firm J&J Design came up with the Saxdor 320 GTO, a revolutionary outboard-powered sports boat with refined hull lines, sexy looks, and amazing performance. The fast-looking GTO with its T-top over the cockpit became the first in the line of 10-meter boats, soon to be joined by an open-top model and a cabin variant.
Good-looking. Fast. Safe.
The world success of Saxdor 320 GTO rests on the three aspects of this boat — an efficient hull, striking design, and unique use of living space onboard. Its seaworthiness, safety, and lively, easy handling come courtesy of the refined hydrodynamics of its hull with twin steps and eight rakes along the bottom. Saxdor 320's speed characteristics speak for themselves: with just one V8 Mercury motor, the boat has a top speed of 40 knots with a cruising speed of about 30 knots. With two 300-hp outboards, the top speed exceeds 50 knots!
The boat’s looks, with perfectly harmonized proportions and angles, have already won hearts all over the world. Such a perfect blend of practicality and designer looks, previously expected of expensive executive cars, is now the trademark of Saxdor 320 powerboats.
Fold-out terraces increase cockpit area
For a good cruise boat, versatility, good use of space, deck layouts, and proximity to the water are essential, and the Saxdor 320 GTO serves that in spades. It comes with a three-seat helm station, galley with a ceramic stove, sink, and a fridge, and two sofas that transform into a dinette or a sunbed. Another sunbed is in the foredeck. Aft sides of the cockpit fold out at the push of a button, turing the entire cockpit into a wide bathing and diving platform. The electric fold-out terraces are a standard feature of the 320 GTO.
Well-lit bow cabin
The front cabin, with its vast bed, is bursting with sunlight coming in through top hatches and large side windows. Glass inserts in the sides of the hull are there to let even more natural light in — and they look fabulous too! The cabin is equipped with a cabinet, a chair, and a full-height head with a stylish bowl sink. Spending a night onboard a 320 GTO is guaranteed to be a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing experience!
