A powerboat with the dynamics and flair of a jetski, only better — because of its safety, comfort and versatility. This is what designer Sakari Mattila had in mind when designing the harmonious and good-looking Saxdor 200 Pro Sport.
Speedy and maneuverable
In shipbuilding, PRO stands for Professional. This boat is for the more experienced helmsman, with the minimum power rating for the outboard motor raised to 150 hp. With a motor like that, the Saxdor 200 Pro Sport can skim along the water at up to 40 knots. Its trademark twin-stepped delta hull with a 22.5-degree deadrise gives the Saxdor 200 ProSport its unique speed, seaworthiness, and maneuverability.
Adjusts to its owner’s needs
In stand specification, the Saxdor 200 Pro Sport comes with a triple jetski-type Jockey saddle. For those in favor of traditional seats, the Pro Sport has the option of contoured chairs and a rear sofa, with lots of stowage space underneath.
The soft bow sunpad comes up on pneumatic struts to reveal an expansive storage locker. On its bottom there is a soft cushion that can easily sleep two persons. The adjustable console windscreen can be lowered in good weather and raised for spray protection when the waves get high. Twin mooring rope lockers are built in the sides at the transom. The open transom allows water to drain overboard right away.
Easy to trailer and launch
The Saxdor 200 Pro Sport is very lightweight, weighing in at 780 kg without a motor. It comes in the following versions: open; retractable soft top; and hard T-top, the most popular version in Europe. In any version and choice of color, the Pro Sport with a 175-hp Mercury motor has a top speed of 45 knots, with perfectly reliable and predictable handling. The sum of its qualities has won the Saxdor 200 Pro Sport lots of prestigious awards, like the European Powerboat of the Year 2021, the coveted Best of Boats Award, and a place in the finals of 2021 Motorboat Awards in the Sportsboat category.
